Lantmännen Doggy AB in Vårgårda is owned by Svenska Lantmännen, one of the largest food producing groups in the Nordic countries. The company is located exclusively in the western region of Sweden. Lantmännen Doggy was founded more than 100 years ago and has grown to become the market leader in pet foods in Sweden. The company employs around 160 people and has an annual turnover of EURO 50 million. The Swedish attributes of a clean and nutritious product are the main guiding principles for development and production.
Our factory is located in a beautiful rural setting. Here, as in the rest of Sweden, farmers use less chemicals than in other parts of the world and since the use of hormones and preventative antibiotics is prohibited our raw materials are of the highest quality.
Lantmännen Doggy is certified according to ISO 9001, 14001 (environmental) and 22000. ISO 22000 is the food safety management system that fulfils the requirements of HACCP, Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points, by identifying and securing critical control points. The ISO 22000 also guarantees essential routines for traceability backward and forward in the chain of process, to ensure health and quality.
