Petter is one of Europe’s top mushers. He competes at top level, driving a team of Alaskan huskies thousands of miles across some of the harshest terrain on earth in brutal conditions.
In March 2016, Petter won the longest and toughest dog race in Europe, Norway’s 1000km Finnmarksløpet. He is the first foreigner ever to win this epic race. In 2017, he won Femundløpet in record-breaking time. He is already training hard to make the 2018 season his best one yet.
Peter lives in Slussfors in the northern parts of Sweden. He arranges dog sledding tours and blogs about his adventures. Learn more about Petter and his dogs on his website: http://www.petterkarlsson.com/
